Since short-term and medium-term air pollution exposure on atopic dermatitis flare has not been fully studied, researchers sought to explore their impact in patients undergoing treatment with dupilumab. They focused on pollutants such as coarse and fine particulate matter, nitrogen dioxide, and oxides at various time intervals before the occurrence of AD flares.
