Erythroderma in an Infant

A male infant with no family history of erythroderma or ichthyosis presented with fine, superficial scale overlying diffuse mild erythema. At 5 weeks, he demonstrated worsening erythroderma with superficial desquamation. A CBC and punch biopsy were performed. This case provides 3 questions with possible answers regarding diagnosis, treatment, and histopathology.
